About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Okta IAM Engineer with extensive experience in Okta identity and access management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Okta's capabilities, including customization, APIs, and integration with various applications. This role involves working closely with business application developers to integrate Okta into their systems and ensuring seamless identity lifecycle management. The position requires advanced knowledge of Okta infrastructure and experience in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Okta experience.
• General knowledge in how to customize Okta.
• Comfortable with Okta APIs and sign-in widget.
• Experience with custom OIDC or SAML apps.
• Understanding of LCM using SCIM/OPP.
• Advanced Okta infrastructure knowledge (Org2Org, Okta Workflows, OPP).
• Applications developer experience leveraging APIs (Python acceptable).
• Comfortable delivering in an Agile environment.
• Experience using Jira to track work.

Responsibilities

• Customize Okta to meet specific organizational needs.
• Utilize Okta APIs and the sign-in widget for application integration.
• Work with custom OIDC or SAML applications, collaborating with business app developers.
• Implement and manage identity lifecycle management (LCM) using SCIM/OPP.
• Manage advanced Okta infrastructure, including Org2Org and Okta Workflows.
• Develop and maintain Okta integrations using APIs, potentially with Python.
• Deliver work within an Agile framework, utilizing Jira for task tracking.
