About The Position

Yamhill County has one regular part-time (21 hours/week) position for a Senior Office Specialist to work in the Family & Youth Division. Your duties in this role will include receptionist services, phones, OHP assister help, scheduling client appointments and group rooms, updating clinicians' schedules in the Electronic Health Record system, processing intakes, enrollments, and terminations, managing petty cash and special needs requests, taking meeting minutes, copying, ordering supplies, and relieving supervisors of administrative tasks such as gathering, analyzing, and preparing reports, processing subpoenas, with minimal direction, and other duties as assigned. Some evening and/or weekend work will be required. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Requirements

  • One year of clerical or secretarial work experience.
  • Course work and training related to the position may substitute for up to six months of experience.
  • Any Satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work will be considered.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel are required.
  • Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this classification with or without accommodation.

  • Must not be excluded from participation in federal procurement (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and non-procurement activities (Executive Order No. 12549).
