Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Tennessee license
- 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation and OSHA requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Knowledge of safety and environmental systems
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite medical/first aid care for occupational injuries and illnesses
- Maintain OSHA logs and DOL-required documentation in compliance with regulations
- Ensure occupational health programs meet legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate clinic staffing and scheduling
- Implement return-to-work programs
- Partner with HR on workers compensation case management
- Conduct training on medical, ergonomics, and first aid topics
- Maintain records for work-related injuries and illnesses
- Support accident investigations and safety improvements
- Serve as liaison between employees and workers compensation insurance
- Support wellness programs and health initiatives
- Coordinate random drug testing
- Maintain confidentiality of PHI
- Perform other duties as assigned
