Vacancy is in the Department of Families, Children, & Youth. Under supervision of the Department of Families, Children, & Youth (DFCY), provides guidance and support to Family Home Daycare Providers in applying, training, managing, and retaining the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) funding. Supports Family Home Daycare Providers through education and development of guidelines to follow for CACFP, along with processing applications, documentation of activities, trainings, development of program materials and reports. Supports developing a plan to implement and expand the Go NAPSACC Program and the Farm to ECE (Early Childhood Education) initiatives for Family Daycare Providers. The hours of work are 40 per week. This is a grant-funded position renewable on an annual basis. The City of Hartford is not obligated to fund this position upon termination of funding.
