Requirements

A minimum education of a Bachelor of Science degree.
A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience.
Must be US citizen.
Successful drug screening.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if needed.

Responsibilities

Provide nuclear safety technical support services in accordance with 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and applicable standards such as DOE-STD-3009-94, DOE-STD-3009-2014 and DOE-STD-1189-2016.
Utilize demonstrated experience in the hazard identification, hazard screening, and hazard evaluation process.
Perform accident and consequence analysis process.
Assist with identification and development of engineered and/or administrative controls credited for the prevention or mitigation of postulated accidents.
Document the results of these processes in safety analysis reports, documented safety analyses, and technical safety requirements.
