Turning a breakthrough treatment-delivery concept into a safe, scalable, and reliable product takes more than great design it takes exceptional system-level leadership. As our Senior New Product Introduction Systems Engineer, you will shape how next-generation radiation oncology technologies move from development through industrialization and launch. Your decisions will influence product architecture, manufacturing strategy, supply chain readiness, quality, cost, and scalability helping care teams deliver precise, efficient cancer treatment to patients around the world. The Opportunity: You will be the senior manufacturing technical lead and system-level integrator for complex radiation oncology treatment-delivery products and platforms. Working across R&D Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Service, and Product Management, you will translate product intent into credible, scalable manufacturing solutions. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and influence, you will establish manufacturing and Supply Chain intent early, make technical trade-offs visible, and ensure evidence-based readiness from prototype through production ramp. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialization, Systems Engineering, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Strong system-level understanding of product architecture, manufacturing processes, validation, product configuration, and Supply Chain interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical work across global, cross-functional teams and influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Proven application of Design for Excellence, structured problem-solving, risk management, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly, frame credible trade-offs, and align technical and business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in radiation oncology, medical devices, or another highly regulated, safety-critical, and technically complex industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own manufacturing and Supply Chain intent for assigned treatment-delivery products, platforms, or ecosystems across the product lifecycle.
  • Translate complex product requirements into clear system-level manufacturability, scalability, quality, cost, capacity, and supply-readiness requirements.
  • Drive Design for Excellence with R&D, influencing architecture and design decisions to improve manufacturability, testability, serviceability, reliability, and lifecycle cost.
  • Lead technical trade-off decisions across product performance, patient safety, quality, cost, schedule, supply risk, and long-term scalability.
  • Orchestrate industrialization execution across Manufacturing Engineering, sites, and suppliers, aligning processes, tooling, validation, product configuration, and production solutions to system-level intent.
  • Establish objective readiness governance for prototype, pilot, validation, transfer, and production ramp, ensuring decisions are supported by credible evidence.
  • Identify and resolve systemic risk across design, manufacturing, suppliers, materials, capacity, configuration, and cross-site deployment before it affects launch.
  • Build alignment without relying on authority, bringing clarity to ambiguity and influencing stakeholders across global functions and leadership levels.
  • Advance engineering capability through reusable standards, lessons learned, data, and responsible use of AI-assisted tools to improve decision quality and execution.
