About The Position

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions. The engineer will administer and maintain various security technologies, perform firewall deployments and migrations, and design network security architectures. The position involves monitoring and troubleshooting network infrastructure, conducting security risk assessments, and supporting cloud network security. Additionally, the role requires investigating and resolving cybersecurity incidents, implementing disaster recovery solutions, and developing network documentation. The engineer will also support enterprise modernization projects, evaluate new technologies, and provide technical leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring compliance with NIST security standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5-10 years of IT infrastructure and security experience.
3-5 years of experience working with enterprise security technologies and NIST-based security frameworks.
Extensive experience supporting enterprise networks and cybersecurity environments.
Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Check Point Firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, Network Security Administration, Cloud Networking, and Enterprise Infrastructure.
Experience creating and maintaining network topology and infrastructure diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions.
Administer and maintain Palo Alto NGFW, Check Point Firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, Network Security Policies, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
Perform firewall deployments, migrations, rule reviews, and policy conversions.
Design and support LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, cloud, and hybrid network environments.
Develop network security architectures, segmentation strategies, and access controls.
Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and security events.
Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support cloud firewall administration and cloud network security controls.
Investigate and resolve complex network and cybersecurity incidents.
Implement and maintain disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
Develop and maintain network diagrams, security documentation, standards, and procedures.
Support enterprise modernization, integration, and infrastructure projects.
Evaluate emerging networking and security technologies.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to network and security teams.
Ensure compliance with NIST security standards and best practices.
