About The Position
SoHo Dragon is representing an Investment Bank client seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a 24-month contract. This role is hybrid, requiring 4 days in the office in Jersey City, NJ. The engineer will be responsible for operating and supporting network security infrastructure and leading network security projects, with on-call support also required.
Requirements
- CCNP or CCIE (Security or Enterprise)
- Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point certifications
- CISSP or equivalent security certification
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in network and network security engineering, including operational support and project delivery
- IT service management certifications (e.g., ITIL)
Responsibilities
- Operate and support network security infrastructure, including firewalls, web proxies, VPN gateways, and load balancers
- Lead and deliver network security projects
- Provide on-call support
