About The Position

Noblis is hiring a Senior Network Security Engineer to support the Information Technology Operations Division (Code 104) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division. This team plays a key role in supporting the Navy’s mission by delivering reliable and secure IT services across its research, development, testing, and evaluation environments. This is a hybrid position based out Philadelpphia, PA - working both remotely and onsite at the Philadelphia Navy Yard (Split will be around 50% onsite, 50% remote, but subject to customer needs). Dutuies & Responsibilities: In this role you will be part of a team responsible for managing and maintaining critical network infrastructures, including the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and the Compatibility Test Facility (CTF). You will be providing daily network maintenance and provide continuous monitoring of network security. Enabling the engineering, testing, and operational support of Navy ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 8 or more years of experience in network security.
  • Strong experience with C2C, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, IEEE 802.11, TCP/IP (specifically Layers 3/4), switching and routing protocols (internet standards and general architecture), and Cisco hardware.
  • Minimum Certification Requirement: IAT Level 3; Baseline (any one of: CASP+/Sec X, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH) and OS specific: CCNP level certifications.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance.
