About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the stability, performance, and security of enterprise and data center network infrastructure. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in complex routing environments, with a strong focus on BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) design, deployment, and troubleshooting. Important: Candidates must demonstrate proven, real-world experience managing and optimizing large-scale routing environments. Profiles with only theoretical knowledge or limited exposure will not be considered.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructure in large data center environments
  • Expert-level knowledge of BGP and OSPF, including: Traffic engineering, Route optimization, Failover and convergence design
  • Advanced expertise in TCP/IP troubleshooting and packet analysis
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE platforms, Cisco Nexus (9K, 7K) and Catalyst switches/routers, BGP, OSPF, and STP configuration and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in designing, planning, testing, implementing, and supporting large-scale data center networks
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds and Cisco Catalyst Center
  • Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid architectures
  • Candidates must be able to clearly articulate and provide real-world examples of: Designing and implementing BGP and/or OSPF routing architectures in production environments, Troubleshooting complex routing issues impacting business-critical systems, Leading or supporting data center network deployments, upgrades, or migrations, Implementing failover strategies, convergence tuning, and traffic optimization in large-scale networks
  • Engineers with deep, hands-on routing expertise, not just keyword familiarity
  • Strong problem-solvers who have worked in complex, high-availability environments
  • Candidates who can confidently discuss real production scenarios and outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain internal and external network infrastructure supporting critical business applications
  • Manage and support Cisco-based environments, including Catalyst and Nexus platforms, wireless networks, ISE, and IPS
  • Perform advanced routing and switching troubleshooting, including production issue resolution
  • Develop and implement network designs to improve performance, resiliency, and scalability
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations in coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Proactively monitor and analyze network health using enterprise monitoring tools
  • Support data center and hybrid/cloud networking initiatives
  • Ensure high availability, security compliance, and continuous network operations
