About The Position

Develops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong background in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level networks.
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Experience with Cisco network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network management and monitoring tools).
• Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualized environments.
• Demonstrated Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Networking/Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Proficient knowledge and ability to use a computer (must be keyboard proficient) and other office technology (i.e., telephone, fax, etc.), MS Outlook and Word.
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment and apply appropriate professional skills to a patient population of all ages.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or applicable years of experience with related certifications in lieu of degree.
• Certifications in Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are preferred.
