About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to play a pivotal role in establishing network integration standards, designing secure architectures, and driving enterprise security initiatives. This role requires an experienced Network & Security Engineer skilled in enterprise integration, Next-Gen Firewalls, and robust cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of combined IT and security experience with exposure to systems analysis and network administration.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with information security tools aligned with NIST standards.
• Deep technical expertise with Palo Alto or CheckPoint security products, VPNs, and cloud network security.
• Proficiency in schematic diagramming tools to map complex infrastructure layouts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical work experience.
• Strong technical leadership, proactive problem-solving, structured decision-making, and excellent written and verbal communication skills across both technical and business audiences.

Nice To Haves

• PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP, or CCIE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW) and VPN platforms (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, GlobalProtect).
• Execute rule migrations, platform conversions, and access policy management.
• Design and optimize secure enterprise LAN/WAN, routing/switching, cloud connectivity, and data center environments.
• Implement network segmentation strategies to isolate critical workloads and limit lateral movement.
• Monitor security events, analyze network anomalies, and lead root-cause investigations for complex network and security incidents using logging, packet analysis, and security tools.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and security policies following NIST guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments, evaluate emerging network/security tools, and present technical recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, provide advanced tier-3 support, and mentor junior engineering staff on best practices.
