About The Position

Fantom Corporation is seeking a Network Engineer to support a mission-critical enterprise serving the defense and intelligence community. The role leads the design, implementation, and optimization of resilient, secure network infrastructures. The successful candidate will provide strategic and technical leadership in network modernization, security architecture, and performance optimization while ensuring reliable communications.

Requirements

• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise with diagnostic tools.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, cloud, and security infrastructure.
• Ability to perform threat mitigations and be versed in DevSecOps.
• Experience with AI-assisted monitoring.
• Experience with Palo Alto technology.

Responsibilities

• Identify network security needs and implement security infrastructure solutions.
• Implement a disaster recovery procedure.
• Troubleshoot network issues and communicate them to other employees and management.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of resilient, secure network infrastructures.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership in network modernization, security architecture, and performance optimization.
