Senior Network Engineer - Pacific Region
About The Position
OBXtek is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for the Pacific Region to support a Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA. This role provides senior technical leadership for LAN/WLAN/WAN operations, serving as the regional point of contact for network configuration, performance, and security. The engineer will lead the resolution of complex outages and connectivity issues, enforce network standards, support RMF documentation and compliance, and provide recommendations to leadership. The position is OCONUS in the Pacific Region, requiring frequent on-site presence and regular travel throughout the region, including emergency and after-hours support. An Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA) may be available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline OR technical training with extended experience.
- Minimum 5–10 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Experience supporting OCONUS DoD networks.
- Strong background in Cisco, monitoring tools, and Zero Trust implementations.
- IAM Level III certification
- CCNP certification
- CISSP certification
- Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership for LAN/WLAN/WAN operations across the Pacific region.

- Enforce DHA and regional network standards and policies.
- Support RMF technical documentation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.
- Provide briefings and recommendations to Government leadership.
