About The Position
OBXtek is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA in Europe. This role involves leading troubleshooting and sustainment of enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN environments, maintaining alignment with DHA and European regional command policies, supporting RMF/ATO technical requirements and cybersecurity remediation, and coordinating with government, host-nation, and supporting organizations. The Senior Network Engineer will act as the senior network authority for DHA operations in Europe.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline OR technical training with extensive experience.
- Minimum 5–10 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Proven experience supporting OCONUS and multi‑country DoD environments.
- Expertise in Cisco, SolarWinds, ARMIS, and enterprise security architectures.
- IAM Level III certification
- CCNP certification
- CISSP certification
- Secret security clearance
