The Network Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of networking in the AMER region including wide area networks (WAN), local area networks (LAN), problem solving, vendor interfacing and VPN/Internet communications. The candidate must be familiar with LAN/WAN and SD-WAN topology including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, bridges and gateways. Communicates regularly with the Global network team, IT management, and key departmental users on data communication requirements and the coordination of issues. Strong problem-solving skills required for resolving systems support issues. Structured work habits and good personal time management to effectively utilize the systems development methodology. Though an IC role, applicants should be well-suited to work autonomously while setting standards for other engineers and communicating regular updates, setting out future strategies to departmental leadership, successful candidates should be adept at creative problem solving and have experience with managed service or staff augmentation team structures.
