About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Network Engineer to support and drive our continued growth. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing all aspects of our network infrastructure within a 24/7 production environment. The Senior Network Engineer ensures high availability, performance, and resiliency across LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and cloud networks that support our critical print operations and digital delivery systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration roles within enterprise or production environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware, preferably HPE Switching and Mellanox, with familiarity in Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native networking concepts and technologies across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.
  • Solid understanding of IT security best practices and compliance standards relevant to regulated industries such as print/mail.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting highly available network infrastructure in production environments.
  • Experience with large-scale HPE and Mellanox switching environments (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and latency issues.
  • Strengthen network security by implementing firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs, segmentation, and encryption technologies.
  • Maintain and administer network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues affecting production SLAs and operational uptime.
  • Lead network-related projects such as upgrades, migrations, expansions, integrations, and lifecycle refreshes.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Implement and maintain firewall rules, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation in coordination with security teams.
  • Ensure network infrastructure aligns with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI.
  • Support and contribute to zero-trust networking initiatives and secure architecture design.
