About The Position

Sr Network Engineer TOP SKILLS Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with at least 2 years in a sr capacity. Proven experience with Cisco routing and switching. Strong, hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls. Direct experience with WAN technologies and network design Key Responsibilities Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement complex network solutions for LAN, WAN, and data center environments. Deploy and manage advanced routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. Lead network upgrade projects and ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Security Administration (Palo Alto): Administer and manage Palo Alto firewalls for on-premises security. Configure security policies, VPNs, and application control to protect the corporate network. Extend and manage security policies in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) using Palo Alto's cloud-based solutions. Cisco LAN & SD-Access: Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst Infrastructure, ensuring high performance and availability. Utilize and support Cisco SD-Access to automate network provisioning and management Cisco ISE Resolve complex LAN issues, including VLANs, spanning-tree protocol, and port security. Network Monitoring & Performance Management: Implement and manage comprehensive network monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and security. Configure alerts and dashboards to proactively identify and respond to network anomalies and outages. Use network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, or similar) to analyze traƯic patterns, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and generate reports for capacity planning. Conduct proactive performance tuning and optimize network configurations based on monitoring data. Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP). Proficiency in network security principles and administration of firewalls. Demonstrated experience with Cisco's SD-Access platform. Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Certifications: Cisco CCIE or CCNP Enterprise certification is highly preferred. Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is a significant advantage.
