About The Position

Lentech is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to install, configure, and maintain network and sensor hardware. This role involves developing, planning, and implementing network and sensor hardware solutions, layouts, and upgrades. The engineer will also implement and manage network security measures, resolve network and sensor hardware issues, and monitor network health. A key responsibility includes analyzing traffic patterns and improving visibility through metrics and alerting, as well as creating and maintaining network documentation, policies, and procedures. The position requires the ability to climb ladders for installing and troubleshooting sensor devices.

Requirements

Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
Twelve (12) years’ experience overall
Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years).
Network architecture knowledge and experience.
Network switch administration.
Experience with patching and upgrading network devices and applications.
Network application troubleshooting skills.
Hardware installation and cabling experience.
Proficient with Linux and Windows.
IAT level III is required.
CCNA or CCNP
Security+ certification

Nice To Haves

Linux and/or Windows system administration experience is a plus
VMware architecture administration experience.
Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with monitoring tools.
AWS/VM experience
