Senior Network Engineer
About The Position
Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is currently seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, design, and evaluation of computer network systems and services. This includes overseeing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets, and internet connectivity. Your expertise will be crucial in providing analytical, technical, and administrative support, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our network infrastructure. The mission of the MSTP is to train and educate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements to conduct operations across a broad spectrum of military scenarios, within the framework of Joint, Combined, or Coalition environments.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related Networking experience.
- Security Clearance.
- CCNA required.
- Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and eligible for IAT Level II access.
- Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree Protocol, ISAKMP, SIP).
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Multicast.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot DMVPN and GRE tunnels.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot TACLANES (FIREFLY, PPK, SDD).
- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Experience with 802.1X and zero trust environments.
- Knowledge of voice over internet protocol devices and services.
- Ability to maintain current applicable firewall (Palo Alto) and proxy appliance security policies.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SSL inspections, IPS, IDS, Malware and URL filtering.
Nice To Haves
- Industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
