Barbaricum is seeking a Senior Network Engineer III to design, implement, and maintain complex network architectures supporting mission operations. The candidate will provide technical leadership in network engineering and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise network environments.

Requirements

  • Secret (or otherwise) pending clearance verification
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise network infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex network environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or government network environments.
  • Experience with network automation or software-defined networking.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise network architectures.
  • Configure and maintain routing, switching, and network security technologies.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Implement network security controls and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to network engineering teams.
  • Develop network documentation and architecture diagrams.
