About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer. In this role, you will lead or participate in implementing network security policies across routers and firewalls, manage production networks including Internet Protocol backbone, data centers and edge pops across the globe, and ensure the continuous availability of all data network services. You will identify gaps, risks, and issues and navigate the organizational structure to resolve them, perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network, and investigate and remediate network capacity related issues. You will apply knowledge of security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutions, provide resolution information and work with other teams to complete impact analysis, and deliver comprehensive and maintenance plans for change management review and approval. Additionally, you will mentor and train network operations teams in installation, configuration, and maintenance, and partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence.

Requirements

4+ years Python and Ansible programming for network automation and development operations (DevOps)
4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Network data and data sources, data modelling, network data management, data integrity (SoT) technologies experience

Nice To Haves

Network automation experience, automated testing, and orchestration tools.
Experience with network data management using ServiceNow and Nautobot
Experience in programming with APIs and GraphQL
Experience with JINJA, JSON, REST, YAML, YANG, Django ORM
Experience in GIT, Jira, Jenkins usage and integrations
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Experience with creating and or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
