About The Position

Omni Fiber is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to design, optimize, and support the backbone of its growing network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced ISP environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to make a direct impact on a rapidly expanding fiber network.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 5–10 years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or ISP operations
• Strong expertise with BGP, MPLS, OSPF/IS-IS, IPv6, NAT/CG-NAT, and VPN technologies
• Experience with broadband service provider networks and backbone infrastructure
• Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, fiber transport, peering, and subscriber technologies
• Experience with platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, Nokia, or similar technologies
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation skills
• Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives

Nice To Haves

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS/JNCIP, or similar are a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable broadband and backbone network infrastructure
• Lead deployment and optimization of routing, transport, and peering environments
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for critical network and performance issues
• Develop network standards, engineering templates, and operational best practices
• Perform testing and validation for new hardware, platforms, and configurations
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, transport, fiber, and CPE environments
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and the NOC to support network growth and reliability
• Mentor engineers and provide advanced technical leadership across the organization
• Support maintenance windows, limited on-call activities, and operational escalations as needed
