About The Position

Do you thrive in environments where secure, high-performance networks are the top priority? As a Senior Network Administrator, your primary focus will be managing and strengthening our network and security infrastructure. You will oversee the configuration, operation, and enforcement of Palo Alto firewalls across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring consistent protection through well-defined security zones, threat profiles, traffic inspection, and policy management. You will also lead the design and optimization of core network architectures, including routing, hybrid connectivity, segmentation, and overall performance, helping ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience across our infrastructure.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in network and firewall configuration and maintenance.
  • Advanced experience with infrastructure as code practices, including reusable modules and integration within continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of firewall configuration and design (policies, zones, VPNs), Wi-Fi and network authentication (Aruba, ClearPass), and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Professional or AWS Certified Security, Specialty certification.
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
  • Experience with data security and governance for artificial intelligence and machine learning pipelines.
  • Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls across cloud and hybrid environments to ensure strong perimeter and internal network security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling through infrastructure as code, using modular design, reusable templates, and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
  • Monitor system health, optimize performance, and ensure high availability across compute, storage, and networking resources.
  • Participate in incident response, disaster recovery planning, and security audits.
  • Document infrastructure designs, operational processes, and security controls.
