About The Position

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Senior Net Revenue Analyst at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas. The position is responsible for performing complex financial analysis related to reimbursement and net revenue, supporting system-level net revenue reporting accuracy and financial statements, and developing analytics to identify and explain net revenue performance drivers. The role reports to the Director of Net Revenue and involves supporting the monthly financial close, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, analyzing financial data, contributing to accounting reserve methodologies, preparing reporting schedules, developing managed care contract performance reports, collaborating across departments, supporting net revenue system implementations, monitoring reimbursement and regulatory changes, and serving as a mentor to junior staff. The work environment is a large healthcare system with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence, including Wednesdays and as needed, with cross-functional collaboration with finance and executive teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics REQUIRED
  • Minimum 7 years net revenue experience REQUIRED
  • MUST have Kodiak (Crowe) experience – non-negotiable
  • Revenue accounting knowledge REQUIRED
  • Understanding of reimbursement structures (commercial and government payors) REQUIRED
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills REQUIRED
  • Must live in Houston or surrounding area and be available onsite as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with systems such as Excel, Lawson, EPSI, and Crowe RCA preferred
  • CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex financial analysis related to reimbursement and net revenue
  • Support system-level net revenue reporting accuracy and financial statements

  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations

  • Collaborate across departments including finance leadership

  • Serve as mentor and resource to junior staff
