  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core, C#, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing and supporting internal and external integrations
  • Experience working with third-party/external APIs and authentication mechanisms
  • Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, and common integration patterns
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, or equivalent relational databases
  • Proficiency with Git and source code repository practices
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience troubleshooting production applications and performing root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, external partners, or business stakeholders on technical projects or integrations
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and communicate technical issues, requirements, solutions, and project status
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Professional and confident communication with clients and external partners
  • Strong hands-on development and integration skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and analytical abilities

  • Experience migrating scheduled jobs, console apps, or legacy batch processes to a modern job platform
  • Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise / case-management platforms
  • Experience with document management or document-based integrations
  • Experience with SFTP and file-based integrations
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, EFS, SES, SNS, Lambda, or EC2

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based integrations and RESTful APIs.

  • Configure and maintain firm- or partner-specific mappings, credentials, and integration settings.
  • Support existing scheduled integration jobs currently running across mixed platforms.
  • Help migrate those jobs to a more reliable job-processing platform (such as Hangfire), including scheduling, retries, monitoring, and failure alerting.
  • Improve reliability by reducing silent failures, duplicate runs, and hard-to-support job wrappers.
  • Maintain and improve automated notifications related to job success, failure, and operational status.

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
  • Analyze application logs, API responses, database records, and integration workflows to identify issues.
  • Work with infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve issues spanning multiple systems.

  • Communicate directly with clients and external partners regarding integration setup, API requirements, testing, issues, and deployment activities.
  • Lead technical onboarding for new integrations, including gathering requirements, coordinating testing, and supporting go-live.
  • Prepare clear and professional email communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to track integration issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Translate technical details into clear business-friendly explanations when working with clients.
  • Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
