About The Position
This is for a potential future opportunity with New Era Technology. Location: Must reside near Indianapolis, IN. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications using modern Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, Angular, Microservices, REST APIs, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS), and DevOps practices. This role will be responsible for building secure, high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative business solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- 5+ years of experience building front-end applications with Angular.
- Strong experience in enterprise-level application development.
- Backend: C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework Core, Microservices Architecture, GraphQL, Azure Functions.
- Frontend: Angular (10+ preferred), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Kendo UI, Razor Views.
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
- DevOps & Tools: Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, CI/CD Pipelines, ServiceNow.
- Key Competencies: Full Stack Development, Solution Architecture, Cloud-Native Development, API Design & Development, Application Security, Agile Methodologies, Problem Solving, Leadership & Mentoring, Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Nice To Haves
- Experience within healthcare, insurance, or financial services industries.
- Experience working with: FHIR, HL7, Healthcare interoperability standards.

- Microsoft Azure certifications.

Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, and .NET 6+.
- Develop and enhance responsive user interfaces using Angular (v10+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI.
- Build Single Page Applications (SPAs) utilizing modern Angular architecture and component-based design.
- Develop reusable services, components, and libraries to improve application maintainability.
- API & Backend Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices architectures.
- Build scalable backend services using ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs where appropriate.
- Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and role-based access controls.
- Integrate applications with third-party services and enterprise systems.
- Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, or AWS DevOps tools.
- Utilize cloud-native services such as: Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates.
- Monitor application performance and optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Database Development: Design and optimize database solutions using: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Develop stored procedures, views, and performance-tuned queries using T-SQL and PL/SQL.
- Utilize Entity Framework Core for ORM and data access.
- Integration & Messaging: Develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Support distributed systems and real-time data processing.
- Implement system integrations leveraging microservices and messaging frameworks.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Architects.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
