About The Position

CGI is seeking to hire an experienced skilled Senior .Net Developer with AWS experience. Join a supportive, collaborative team responsible for applications that keep large scale fulfillment operations running every day. You'll work on software that directly supports automation and robotics, solving real world operational challenges where reliability and business impact matter. Our environment includes a mix of established and modern technologies, including C#, .Net, Angular, Oracle, AWS, and AI assisted development tools. This is not a role for someone chasing the latest framework every year. It is a role for an engineer who enjoys learning, solving complex problems, improving systems over time, and contributing wherever the team needs help. You'll have the opportunity to bring AWS expertise to a team that is actively expanding its cloud capabilities while working alongside experienced engineers in a culture that values collaboration, flexibility, and continuous improvement. This position is located at client site in Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model.

Requirements

  • At least minimum 8+ years of experience in the following:
  • Experience with Design / Development/Testing of C#, .NET technology
  • Experience in both desktop and web based applications
  • Experience delivering Restful Web Services, APIs
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with design patterns, Microservices, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience in Messagepoint Cloud or OpenText
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Angular, OpenShift and Kafka
  • Experience migrating applications from On Premise to Cloud
  • Experience with CICD – TFS, GIT, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Terraform
  • Experience with unit test automation
  • Experience with AI acceleration tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and support applications using C#, .Net, Angular, Oracle, AWS, and related technologies
  • Serve as a cloud advocate by helping the team expand its AWS knowledge and adoption
  • Design and implement new features while maintaining and improving existing applications
  • Support systems that interface with fulfillment automation and robotics technologies
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Create and maintain technical and operational documentation
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives and cloud adoption efforts
  • Take ownership of a variety of technical and operational responsibilities as business needs evolve
