About The Position

Watershed Security is seeking a Senior Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves reviewing and implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle documentation to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems, networks, and information. Responsibilities include conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, ensuring proper accreditation procedures are followed, and documenting non-compliance issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, communications systems management, or an equivalent science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university
Active Navy Qualified Validator Certification
At least one of the following active certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICPS, GSEC, Security+, CND, SSCP
Ten (10) years’ practical experience in a cybersecurity or A&A related field
SECRET clearance
US Citizenship
Experience with the Navy RMF Process Guide (RPG), and Navy A&A tools such as ACAS, eMASS and eMASSter
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Project)
Self Starter; detail oriented; able to brief senior level staff

Validation of 10 or more Navy Packages
Experience with the NAVSEA RMF Business Rules

Responsibilities

Reviewing and implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle documentation

Potentially providing some/all remote work, dependent upon customer needs and classification level of work
Performing some travel

Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Project)
Briefing senior level staff
