About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Senior National Sales Director to join their sales team. This is a remote-based position for an innovative and growth-focused company that has been servicing large, complex fleets in North America since 2010. Amerit has become the nation's largest provider of dedicated fleet maintenance and management services, experiencing significant annual growth. The Sr. National Sales Director will be an experienced "hunter" responsible for breaking into new large accounts within a defined target set and managing their own opportunity pipeline throughout the full sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of strong and strategic Hunting experience
  • A minimum of 5+ years of field or outside sales experience from hunting to closing (full sales cycle)
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay motivated
  • Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new business (70%)
  • Growing existing accounts (30%)
  • Breaking into challenging accounts and closing large deals
  • Selling service solutions to C-level decision makers
  • Working collaboratively with co-workers and company leadership
  • Taking ownership of business, prospecting for leads, and closing sales
  • Extensive prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and client presentations
  • Getting prospective clients excited about services
  • Leveraging existing network and resources (e.g., LinkedIn, networking events) to hunt for new business opportunities
  • Meeting with decision-makers and influencers from the target national account list and prospects within the assigned territory
