The Retirement Plans Sales Specialist is an internal sales support position whose primary responsibility is to use their technical retirement plan expertise to help advisors with sales strategies, plan selection, rules/regulations and appropriate solutions via consultative inbound calls to drive sales. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: • IRAs, including Traditional, Roth and Inherited IRAs • Business Retirement Plans (401(k), I(k), SEP and Simple IRAs) • 403(b), 457 and defined benefit plans • RMD and SEPP calculations • Retirement Accumulation and Distribution Strategies (e.g. rollovers, net unrealized appreciation, Roth conversions, In-service Distributions, etc.) • Retirement Income Strategies
