About The Position

Bluestar Move Management is seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Senior Move Specialists to help seniors and their families navigate one of life's most important transitions. From downsizing and organizing to packing, unpacking, and settling into a new home, our team provides personalized support with professionalism, patience, and care. This is not a traditional moving position. While there is physical work involved, our focus is on providing exceptional client service and creating a smooth, stress-free experience for every family we serve. We partner with seniors and families to provide: Downsizing and decluttering, Packing and unpacking services, Home organization, Move preparation and coordination, New home setup and organization. Our mission is to make every transition as simple, organized, and stress-free as possible while treating every client and their belongings with dignity, respect, and care. As a Senior Move Specialist, you'll work directly with clients in their homes, helping them prepare for and complete residential moves. Every project is unique, and your work will have a meaningful impact on the people you serve. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, organization, packing, unpacking, light moving, and teamwork. Projects typically range from 2 to 8 hours, depending on client needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in moving, relocation, senior living, home organization, hospitality, customer service, caregiving, or other service-focused roles is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding service areas.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, climb stairs, and remain active throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Carefully pack household belongings, including fragile and valuable items.
• Assist clients with downsizing, sorting, and organizing personal belongings.
• Label and organize boxes for efficient moving and unpacking.
• Unpack and thoughtfully organize clients' new homes.
• Assist with light furniture placement and household setup.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional service during every client interaction.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Handle clients' belongings with care, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Represent Bluestar Move Management professionally at all times.
