About The Position

Moving is stressful for anyone. For an older adult moving into senior living, it can be one of the most emotional transitions of their life. They're leaving behind a home filled with memories, making difficult decisions about what comes next, and trying to find comfort in a new environment. TES Staffing is supporting a local Rochester company who helps make that process easier. We're looking for compassionate, patient, and dependable people who genuinely enjoy working with older adults and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives. This isn't just a moving job. It's people work.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone for communication and scheduling
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and household items
• Ability to remain active throughout a shift
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Help clients sort, organize, and pack their belongings
• Work alongside families during the moving process
• Unpack and fully set up a new apartment or residence
• Make beds, organize kitchens, arrange furniture, and hang photos
• Create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home from day one
• Provide a calm, reassuring presence during what can be an emotional day
• Coordinate with team members to ensure every detail is handled with care
