About The Position

This position operates on a Shift 1 schedule and reports to an Engineering Manager (MGL) within the Thin Films Metals Department. The role involves developing and executing tactical and strategic plans to achieve performance goals related to safety, quality, equipment availability, DPML, training, and employee relations. The Senior Module Engineer will lead performance management, development, and employee relations activities for a team of engineers and technicians. They will partner with department leaders to ensure consistency in performance and execution across functional areas and shifts, and support factory and segment initiatives through leadership participation in IMT, Production, and TMI teams. The role also requires serving as a role model for the organization's culture, setting high standards for behavior, performance, accountability, and continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence by fostering a culture focused on safety, teamwork, employee engagement, and high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering, and the required semiconductor process engineering experience as outlined below and 4+ years of process engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • OR Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering, and the required semiconductor process engineering experience as outlined below and 2+ years of process engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High ownership and accountability, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor process flows, equipment troubleshooting, and Model-Based Problem Solving (MBPS) methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with vendor field service engineers and manufacturing/engineering technicians to support equipment performance and reliability.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and the ability to provide engineering leadership on quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience serving as a Tool Owner or Process Owner during technology development or technology transfer activities.
  • Technical experience supporting Thin Films processes and equipment.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and drive process improvements.
  • Previous team leadership, project leadership, or mentoring experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
