Join us as a Model Risk Senior Analyst Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Model Risk Senior Analyst to join the Enterprise Model Risk Management (EMRM) team. EMRM is a multi-disciplinary team within Operational Risk that uses applied concepts in econometrics, financial forecasting, balance sheet management, capital liquidity, and financial regulatory requirements management to evaluate firm-wide models, machine learning algorithms, and Gen-AI use cases. The team also plays a key role in the Firm’s AI governance framework. In this role you will be part of a dynamic team independently evaluating models supporting a variety of business activities such as anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance screening, financial and investment risk management, and Gen-AI-enabled processes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with business teams and technical support functions covering a broad range of activities and technologies, including high-profile strategic initiatives with exposure to senior leadership. The role requires a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with a background in computer programming and/or mathematics with the knowledge and skills to decompose, evaluate, and interpret the functionality of various computational models. The position requires understanding of computer programming, quantitative modeling, and the ability to grasp risk management principles.
