About The Position

The Senior Mobility Coordinator supports GM’s Mobility Engineering & Operations team by coordinating mobile device and wireless service activities across the employee lifecycle. This role helps ensure employees have the right mobile tools, services, and support to work effectively while maintaining compliance with GM policies, carrier requirements, device management standards, and operational processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service oriented, and comfortable managing multiple operational workflows at once. They will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, vendors, carriers, and technical teams to coordinate provisioning, service changes, audits, device transitions, and mobile operations support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in mobility operations, telecommunications support, end user services, IT operations, asset coordination, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating mobile devices, wireless services, or carrier-supported technology programs
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and follow-through across stakeholders
  • Experience working with service providers, vendors, internal support teams, and business partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using ticketing, tracking, or workflow tools to manage operational work
  • Ability to analyze issues, coordinate resolution, and improve repeatable processes
  • High attention to detail and strong policy/compliance mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise mobile device management platforms such as Workspace ONE, Intune, or similar tools.
  • Experience with mobile enrollment and provisioning programs, including zero-touch or related automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with wireless billing, usage review, audit support, or carrier account coordination.
  • Experience developing process guides, operational documentation, or user instructions.
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment supporting distributed teams and multiple stakeholder groups

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate mobile device and wireless service requests, activations, upgrades, changes, and cancellations in alignment with business need and policy requirements.
  • Support operational processes tied to device provisioning, mobile service management, and employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Partner with internal teams and suppliers to manage mobile device enrollment, configuration, and compliance activities, including support for enterprise mobility management and automated enrollment programs.
  • Monitor mobility usage, service trends, and audit-related activities to help control cost, improve service quality, and support policy adherence.
  • Help resolve escalations related to devices, service, access, or fulfillment by coordinating with stakeholders across mobility operations, support teams, and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate records, process documentation, and operational communications to support consistent execution across the team.
  • Assist with special projects such as device recovery, recycling, inventory transitions, service migrations, and operational readiness efforts.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and informal leadership across recurring mobility workflows, helping identify issues, streamline processes, and improve the employee experience.
