About The Position

Cresta is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to expand its services beyond web and desktop applications into native and hybrid mobile applications. The role is part of the Platform Frontend team, which builds and maintains the frontend platform, including its architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes. The team also upholds performance, security, and engineering best practices while enabling clear ownership and collaboration across product and engineering teams. The engineer will help develop and continuously improve the Cresta platform and its products, work with customers to understand requirements and deliver customer-facing solutions, and take technical ownership of a substantial part of the product or platform. A key focus is building headful and headless mobile SDKs for Android and iOS to support AI agent integrations. The role also contributes to system design, reusable and well-tested components, product improvements, and high engineering standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong computer science fundamentals.
At least 8 years of experience in relevant domains.
Very solid coding skills.
At least 2 years of native mobile development experience with Kotlin or Java for Android and Swift for iOS in large-scale, consumer-facing products.
Proficiency in designing and maintaining clear frontend architecture.
Experience as a technical lead for a frontend stack supporting various product features.

Nice To Haves

Experience with mobile frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Ionic.

Responsibilities

Play a substantial role in the platform frontend engineering team.
Work with Cresta product and engineering teams to build and continuously improve the platform and address new product requirements.
Engage with customers, analyze technical tradeoffs, and own customer-facing deliverables.
Develop high-quality, well-designed, reusable, and well-tested system components, and contribute to overall system designs.
Identify product improvement opportunities and generate product improvement ideas.
Demonstrate engineering best practices in deliverables and daily work, and uphold high standards across the team.
Take technical ownership of a substantial part of the Cresta product and platform.
Contribute to building the company as well as its product.
Expand Cresta's services beyond web and desktop applications to native and hybrid mobile applications.
Build headful and headless mobile SDKs for Android and iOS to power AI agent mobile integrations.
