The College Board is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to play a key role in building and delivering hybrid (web and native) mobile applications for both iOS and Android. These applications will power secure, high-quality digital assessment experiences. The engineer will develop scalable, performant, and reliable solutions, contributing to design, implementation, testing, and technical documentation, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role is within the Information Technology division and partners with product, security, and operations teams to develop solutions that ensure secure, consistent, and reliable test delivery. The position requires strong expertise in native mobile development (Swift for iOS and Kotlin/Android SDK), along with experience integrating with OS-level and device capabilities. The engineer will build applications that perform consistently across environments, including ChromeOS, macOS, and Windows ecosystems where applicable. Experience building cloud-connected mobile applications and comfort with serverless and event-driven architectures are expected. The role involves contributing to systems built on modular, scalable architectures, integrating mobile clients with cloud services, and supporting delivery through CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevOps practices.
