About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, mobile/UI automation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and end-to-end test framework development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience automating mobile devices and physical hardware using Python, Appium/UI Automator, robotics or motion-control systems, and computer vision/OCR technologies.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python for test automation framework development and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with Mobile/UI Automation using Appium, UI Automator, or equivalent frameworks.
Strong experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
Experience automating and controlling physical devices/equipment through software.
Experience with PyTest, Mobly, or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of test automation architecture, test actions, libraries, and infrastructure.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Android Auto or automotive infotainment systems.
Knowledge of Bluetooth and wireless connectivity protocols.
Experience with Android Projection technologies.
Familiarity with AI-based detectors for UI automation and navigation.
Understanding of algorithm and pathing logic for complex UI automation flows.
Experience working with automotive, robotics, embedded systems, or connected-device testing.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable Python-based test automation frameworks.
Create clean, reusable, and maintainable test actions, libraries, and automation infrastructure.
Develop automated tests for mobile and embedded devices using Appium, UI Automator, or similar tools.
Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and automate physical devices through software control.
Integrate and control hardware such as robotic arms, linear gantries, motion controllers, and other test equipment.
Build automated workflows for interacting with physical systems and device UIs.
Develop Computer Vision and OCR-based automation using camera feeds and vision APIs.
Automate sealed or non-instrumented UIs using coordinate-based actions and visual anchor detection.
Design and execute end-to-end, multi-device, and embedded-device test scenarios.
Troubleshoot automation failures across software, mobile devices, hardware, and test infrastructure.
Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and engineering teams to improve test coverage and automation reliability.
