About The Position

Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC), Surface Radars & Sensors Center department is seeking a Senior Mission Integration Engineer. In this position, you'll play a critical role in verifying RADAR data against stringent requirements to enable advanced system capabilities in state-of-the-art, cutting-edge sensors. You will contribute to key mission areas or variants within the SPY-6 RADAR system, offering an exciting opportunity for growth in both technical expertise and program development.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with radar data for Navy radar systems and/or developing analysis tools.
  • Experience with system integration (e.g. AAW, BMD, Power, etc.).
  • Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB and/or other programming languages.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
  • Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
  • Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
  • Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Travel as needed (up to 30%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
