About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Exchange Migration Specialist to lead the migration of onpremises Microsoft Exchange infrastructure to a target datacenter environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Exchange Server administration, migration planning and execution, hybrid messaging environments, Microsoft 365, and enterprise email infrastructure transformation projects.

Requirements

• 8 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Exchange environments.
• Strong experience with Exchange Server 2013, 2016, and 2019.
• Exchange Online, Microsoft 365.
• Exchange Hybrid Deployments.
• Mailbox Database Management, DAG (Database Availability Group) Administration.
• Transport Services, Mail Routing, Email Security, and Secure Mail Flow.
• Proven experience executing end-to-end Exchange migration projects.
• Hands-on expertise in OnPremises to OnPremises Exchange Migration, Cross-Organization Company-to-Company Exchange Migration, Exchange to Exchange Online Migration, Hybrid Migration Scenarios.
• Mailbox and Public Folder Migration.
• Migration Planning, Cutover and Rollback Activities, Post-Migration Validation, Stabilization.
• Microsoft 365 Identity Services, Exchange Online Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration.
• Azure AD (Entra ID), Azure AD Connect, Identity Synchronization, Authentication and Access Management.
• Active Directory, Windows Infrastructure.
• Active Directory Administration, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management.
• Windows Server Administration.
• Security Groups and Permissions Management.
• Certificate Lifecycle Management.
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
• Ability to automate Exchange Administration Tasks, Reporting Activities, Health Checks, Migration Validation, Troubleshooting Support.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience in Mail Flow Issues, Transport Rules, Connectors, Outlook Connectivity, Autodiscover, Hybrid Configuration, SMTP Routing, Exchange Performance Issues.
• Critical Stakeholder Management.
• Ability to interact directly with customer IT leadership and infrastructure teams.
• Strong communication skills with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to make decisions during critical migration windows and production issues.
• Strong ownership mindset.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver with minimal business disruption.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a 1000 mailbox environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of onpremises Microsoft Exchange infrastructure to a target datacenter environment.
• Independently drive migration activities with minimal supervision.
• Manage migration schedules, risks, dependencies, and cutover activities.
• Create Migration Runbooks, Technical Design Documents, Implementation Plans, KT Documents, and Operational Procedures.
• Work effectively with Infrastructure Teams, Network Teams, Security Teams, Microsoft 365 Teams, Client Stakeholders.
• Support US business hours overlap.
