About The Position

Oversees and delivers merchandising projects within defined scopes, schedules, and budgets. Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules, and determines and acquires project resources. Owns and drives merchandising projects from inception through completion, including reviewing and managing project business cases, identifying project needs, and presenting status updates to management. Supports the development and implementation of merchandising applications and processes for the enterprise. Assists with capacity planning and requirements gathering efforts for merchandising projects. Measures project performance and risks using systems, tools, and established techniques. Evaluates and audits projects, systems, and processes in support of continuous improvement efforts. Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation. Creates, analyzes, and publishes reports that drive cross-functional business insights. Leads daily, weekly, or monthly project status meetings, including reviewing, tracking, and reporting on project tasks, deviations, and trends. Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results. Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues. May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a related discipline OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field
