About The Position

Responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective merchandise planning, allocation, and in-season management. The Senior Merchandising Manager is leading the Little Burgundy merchandisers and guiding them to achieve their goals as well as the company goals.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of experience in merchandising, allocation, or planning
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, Finance) preferred
  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel, retail math, forecasting)
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs (sell-through, GM%, weeks of supply)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal which include being bilingual (French and English)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and high performance environment.
  • Ability to operate a computer and use relevant software applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel) and the knowing of the program JESTA is consider as an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all replenishment of product, including setting models and transfers for their assigned brands and categories.
  • Develop, enhance, and leverage reporting tools and analytics to generate actionable insights that drive sales, optimize inventory turns, and improve overall profitability.
  • Manage the merchandising team to support growth initiatives and achieve sales targets across key stores, including new openings, remodels, relocations and focus stores.
  • Plan and manage Return-to-Vendor (RTV) activities in alignment with warehouse capacity, store operations, inventory flow, and stock turn objectives.
  • Ensure allocation models, replenishment strategies, and transfer decisions are aligned with store capacity, inventory needs, and performance trends.
  • Coordinate and optimize inter-store and regional transfers to maximize sales opportunities and inventory productivity, enabling effective execution by Merchandisers.
  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive monthly calendar to align key activities such as holidays, RTVs, transfers, and other operational priorities.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend data-driven actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key departments to support strategic initiatives and business projects.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to leadership, ensuring key information and business developments are clearly communicated and actionable.
