Requirements

Normally requires 10+ years of experience in MEP construction estimating or related construction cost management roles, or equivalent experience.
OSHA Safety Training/Certification required or ability to obtain certification within the first two years of employment.
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, construction practices, project sequencing, and construction cost estimating methodologies.
Significant experience preparing estimates for large, complex construction projects, preferably valued at $5 million or greater.
Experience with MEP infrastructure upgrade, replacement, renovation, or modernization projects.
Experience with estimating software and construction management platforms such as Bluebeam, Procore, Trimble, or similar tools.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, studies, and contract documents.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare market experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Preparing estimates for large, complex construction projects, preferably valued at $5 million or greater.
Preparing estimates for MEP infrastructure upgrade, replacement, renovation, or modernization projects.
Developing conceptual estimates and rough order of magnitude budgets for client capital planning and early project evaluation.
Developing budgets, cost forecasts, bid proposals, and change order pricing.
Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and client stakeholders.
Managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
