About The Position

Praxis Precision Medicines is seeking a field-based Senior Medical Science Liaison to support prelaunch and launch activities across the South. The role builds trusted relationships with investigators and key stakeholders, delivers high-quality scientific exchange, and helps ensure clinical and account readiness before and after potential approval. It translates clinical data into meaningful field insights, educates healthcare professionals about the disease state and emerging data, and identifies opportunities and barriers that may affect adoption. It requires ownership, proactive insight generation, credible science-driven engagement, clinical credibility, strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously. • Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive impact in a dynamic prelaunch or launch environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, including investigators and key opinion leaders.
  • Experience gathering and translating field insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and consistent follow-through.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, approximately 60–80%.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in neurology or CNS disorders.
  • Experience within the market access or payor landscape.
  • Prior field-based experience and a demonstrated track record of independently driving scientific engagement, shaping clinical perspectives, and contributing to successful prelaunch and launch activities; such candidates may be considered at a higher level.

Responsibilities
