AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their Cell Therapy team in Pennsylvania. This role is the local medical representative for AstraZeneca in cell therapy and multiple myeloma, responsible for developing a local medical strategy to enhance patient care and outcomes within their assigned territory. The MSL is a field-based professional with deep scientific, clinical, and therapeutic area knowledge, providing medical and scientific support for AstraZeneca's cell therapy products. The role involves building scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, engaging in scientific exchanges, responding to information requests, and serving as a trusted scientific advisor. The MSL will educate healthcare providers on disease states, CAR-T mechanisms, the multiple myeloma landscape, safety, manufacturing processes, and infusion center operations, while adhering to compliance guidelines. They will also support the implementation of cell therapy infusions by assisting healthcare providers with the complexities of cell therapy and various stakeholders. Additionally, the MSL will gather and communicate site-level insights to medical leadership, identify educational and data gaps through discussions with External Scientific Experts (ESE) to inform medical affairs strategy and address unmet patient needs, and identify opportunities for collaboration on disease state initiatives, research projects, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR). The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Research and Development (R&D) and representation of Medical Affairs at scientific meetings and congresses.
