About The Position

Routinely performs the duties of a Medical Technologist as well as the Functions of the section supervisor. Maintaining SOPMs and instrumentation, supervising staff training and competencies, maintains overall operations of their assigned section including ordering, maintenance, quality control, completing performance evaluations, initiating disciplinary actions, scheduling as needed. As requested takes on the duties of the department manager. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Lab Services, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Requirements

B.S. in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry or similar
6 years work experience as a Medical Technologist
Current c

ASCP or NCA certificate
