About The Position

The Senior Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist position is responsible for accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results and in-depth technical/theoretical knowledge of instruments and methodologies. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology OR National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists OR National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts OR National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology OR National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology OR National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.
• In compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) criminal background check and fingerprinting may be required for position, based on assigned duties. Involves only those positions at PPMC operating the blood irradiator machine.
• 5 years Clinical laboratory experience in a moderate and high complexity laboratory.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited MLS program.
