About The Position

As a Sr. Paid Media Strategist, you will leverage your extensive experience to develop, measure, and optimize cross-channel media delivery strategies. This role demands a seasoned professional who can connect client goals and target audiences with compelling media experiences across both digital and traditional mediums. You will be instrumental in evolving media strategies and delivering performance excellence for key clients. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of agency or brand experience, with at least 8 years in developing and delivering omni-channel marketing strategies, and with at least 3 years in buying, campaign management, and optimization strategy.
  • Skills: Proficient in media planning tools (e.g., Resonate, Nielsen, Comscore), Microsoft Office, and possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Specialization: Experience in client account growth, strategy development, and leading strategic media partner conversations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amazon, Affiliate, Retail Media, and marketing automation technologies (email, SEO/SEM, web, marketing stack, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead creative brainstorming and planning for custom media client partnerships, focusing on niche and holistic brand experiences.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of trends, tools, opportunities, and applications in paid media environments, applying this knowledge to enhance client strategies.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, partners, and platforms, ensuring optimal terms and costs for clients.
  • Process Optimization: Build and refine internal processes, ensuring seamless collaboration across media, strategy, analytics, creative, and engagement teams.
  • Thought Leadership: Drive internal initiatives, participate in case study development, and contribute to thought leadership through webinars, lunch and learns, and industry events.
  • Omni-Channel Planning: Oversee all elements of media planning across display, video, audio, mobile, and social channels for high-spend and diverse channel mix clients.
  • Performance Reporting: Distill and present campaign performance insights, developing client-facing reports in collaboration with client partners and engagement managers.
  • Client Growth: Lead strategic conversations with media partners, maintain key publisher relationships, and contribute to client account growth and strategy development.
  • Business Acumen: Apply knowledge of key business issues to enhance client strategies and drive new business growth through research and vendor RFI/RFP processes.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead teams through clear communication, strategic decision-making, and fostering a collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.
