About The Position

Bully Pulpit International (BPI) is an outcomes agency comprised of strategists, data scientists, and artists with diverse backgrounds in politics, brands, and government. We operate in six countries and thirteen offices globally, focusing on strategic communications, public affairs, research, and digital marketing to create sophisticated strategies for clients. As a Senior Media Planner on the Paid Media team, you will support the execution and management of paid media campaigns for various clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment and is keen on building a career in digital advertising.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Exposure to digital media planning through internships, fellowships, or coursework is ideal.
  • Experience running campaigns for political, public affairs, and/or corporate clients.
  • Enthusiasm for Democratic and progressive politics.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of media consumption tools like Comscore and Global Web Index (GWI).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence dashboard software such as Google Analytics, Datorama, or Tableau.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Readiness to work independently, grow quickly, learn new skills, think big, and get the job done.

Responsibilities

  • Support lead planners on complex advertising campaigns across all planning, launching, management, and reporting aspects.
  • Work closely with internal media buying, marketing analytics, and client service teams to execute media programs.
  • Participate in all phases of advertising campaign planning and execution, including research, media mix development, budget allocation, and integrated media strategies.
  • Lead media plan launches, including paperwork, ad trafficking, proof of performance, creative delivery, and internal communication.
  • Identify media KPIs aligned with client objectives and monitor/optimize campaigns to achieve goals.
  • Develop report templates to showcase campaign performance and deliver reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage monthly billing between external vendors and internal finance teams, handling discrepancies.
  • Manage vendor communications, RFPs, and negotiate rates, terms, conditions, and added value.
  • Stay updated on media trends and technologies, proactively sharing new opportunities with the paid media team.
  • Compile updates on vendor capabilities and offerings, maintaining and updating an internal tracking system.
